Tidal Reach
Taken over a two-year period on the beaches at Burnham on Sea, this series of work takes as its subject the inter-tidal margin as a transformative space. It explore the effects of the tide and the constantly changing light, on the mud flats and sand banks of the North Somerset coast, exploring the shifting relationship of beach, sea and sky, as the seasons change and the weather and tide constantly alter the shape of the beach.
